WASHINGTON (AP) -The Washington Wizards signed second-round draft pick Dominic McGuire on Monday.
The 6-foot-8 forward was the 47th overall pick from Fresno State. He averaged 12 points, six rebounds and two assists in five games for the Wizards at last month's summer league games in Las Vegas.
``We were very pleased with what we saw from Dominic during summer league,'' team president Ernie Grunfeld said. ``He is extremely athletic, very competitive and is a good rebounder. Dominic is a solid overall defensive player who plays with great energy.''
