 DALLAS (AP) -The Dallas Mavericks on Thursday signed free agent forward Brandon Bass.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bass spent two seasons with the New Orleans Hornets, averaging 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game. He played in 50 career games after being selected with the 33rd overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft.
The 6-8, 240-pound Louisiana State standout has been playing with the Mavericks summer league team.
