OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -The Golden State Warriors re-signed guard Kelenna Azubuike on Tuesday.
Azubuike played in 41 games with Golden State as a rookie last season, starting nine times while averaging 7.1 points and 2.3 rebounds. The Warriors picked up the former Kentucky player in January from the NBA Development League, which he led with 26 points per game at the time of his callup.
Azubuike also played on the Warriors’ summer league team in Las Vegas earlier in the month, averaging 21 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in two games.
