DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) -Carlos Boozer likes what he sees in Chicago, even without former teammate LeBron James on the roster.
Boozer insists he and the Bulls aren’t conceding anything now that the King has announced that he’ll join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami, forming a powerhouse trio that could make the Heat the favorite in the Eastern Conference for years to come.
Boozer says other teams “can’t be afraid” of the Heat “because they have three really good players.”
With a solid cast and enough cap space to lure two stars in what might be the greatest free agent class, the Bulls were looking to make big moves this summer. They missed on The Big Three – James, Wade and Bosh – but wound up getting Boozer.
