CHICAGO (AP) -Dwyane Wade spent about two hours hearing a recruiting pitch from his hometown Chicago Bulls on Thursday, and is ready to greet a contingent from the New Jersey Nets later in the day.
Wade’s agent, Henry Thomas, confirmed the meetings to The Associated Press.
Wade heard from the Miami Heat, his team for the past seven years, shortly after midnight on Thursday when the free-agent window opened across the NBA. He spent about two hours with the Bulls and is expected to meet with the same Nets group that was in Cleveland earlier Thursday to talk with LeBron James.
