PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -The three rookies who are fired general manager Kevin Pritchard’s final legacy for the Trail Blazers are visiting Portland.
The Blazers caused a stir when they fired Pritchard just before last week’s draft started, but kept him in the so-called war room to lead the team’s selections.
Portland took Memphis guard Elliot Williams at No. 22 and Nevada guard Armon Johnson at No. 34. The also traded forward Martell Webster to the Minnesota Timberwolves for veteran forward Ryan Gomes and Nevada shooter Luke Babbitt, the 16th overall selection.
On Monday, Williams, Johnson and Babbitt visited the Rose Garden and met with team officials.
