ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (AP) – The Milwaukee Bucks have chosen Damien Inglis, a small forward who played in France, with the first pick of the second round of the NBA draft.
An NBA.com profile said the 6-foot-8 Inglis had the size and wingspan to potentially be a good wing player.
Inglis was selected 31st overall with the first of three second-round selections for Milwaukee. He’s also the second 19-year-old prospect taken in the draft by the Bucks, but Duke forward Jabari Parker figures to be an immediate contributor after being selected with the second overall pick.
The Bucks have new owners. They’re looking to rebound from a franchise-worst 67-loss season.
