NEW YORK (AP) -Like a president-elect awaiting inauguration, John Wall is seemingly just biding his time until he can officially begin cleaning up Washington.
Life isn’t so simple for DeMarcus Cousins, who has been crisscrossing the country battling Derrick Favors in hopes of landing a spot in the top three of the NBA draft.
It’s been a decidedly different process for the Kentucky freshmen, but Cousins thinks both will go on to become excellent pros.
They get their start Thursday, when Wall is expected to be chosen first by the Wizards. Player of the year Evan Turner is expected to go No. 2 before Cousins and a group of big men hope to land third in New Jersey.
