CLEVELAND (AP) -Atlanta Hawks starting center Al Horford and forward Marvin Williams will sit out Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers with injuries.
Horford is out with a sprained right ankle while Williams has a sprained right wrist. Both missed games in Atlanta’s opening round series against Miami
Zaza Pachulia will start in place of Horford while Maurice Evans, who started for Williams in Game 1, will again be in the lineup.
Horford and Williams both played in Game 1, which Cleveland won 99-72 on Monday night. Horford scored four points and had eight rebounds in 26 minutes. He didn’t practice on Tuesday. Williams had one point and attempted only two shots in 13 minutes.
