WASHINGTON (AP) - Nene has been ejected in the fourth quarter of the Washington Wizards' playoff game against the Chicago Bulls after scuffling with Jimmy Butler.
Nene drew two technical fouls and left Friday night's Game 3 with 8:28 remaining in regulation.
After he scored a basket, Nene turned to run down court, and he and Butler made contact. Butler put a hand on Nene's side, and Nene swatted it away. They then stood face-to-face, their foreheads touching.
Nene grabbed Butler with both hands around the back of the neck and head, before they were separated.
Washington won the first two games of the first-round Eastern Conference series at Chicago.
