EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -Starting forward Andrew Bynum missed the Los Angeles Lakers’ practice Wednesday to get treatment on his sore right Achilles’ tendon but he’s expected to be in the starting lineup Thursday night for Game 3 against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Bynum missed the Lakers’ final 13 games of the regular season after straining the tendon, but returned for the start of the playoffs. He has averaged 9.5 points and 11 rebounds as Los Angeles took a 2-0 lead in the first-round series.
The Lakers were 6-7 without their 7-foot center in the final month of the regular season.
