ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -Charlotte Bobcats swingman Stephen Jackson was carried off the floor with a hypextended left knee injury in Game 1 against the Orlando Magic.
The team said X-rays were negative. He returned for the second half.
Teammate Gerald Wallace dove for a loose ball and collided with Jackson, who laid on the floor in pain as Orlando’s Jameer Nelson hit a 3-pointer at the first-half buzzer Sunday.
Trainers worked on his knee, and the entire Bobcats team came over to check on him as they walked to the locker room. He got up after about a minute, limping to the locker room and barely able to put any weight on the leg.
