ATLANTA (AP) -Shaquille O’Neal, Vince Carter and Rasheed Wallace are heading to the NBA playoffs, which is just what everyone expected when they switched uniforms last summer.
That’s not to say they’ll have a bigger impact than three other guys who drew scant attention when they changed teams around the same time.
Jamal Crawford has emerged as one of the league’s best sixth men for the Atlanta Hawks, Andre Miller became a steadying force in the Portland Trail Blazers’ backcourt, and Matt Barnes has brought some much-needed toughness to Carter’s team, the Orlando Magic.
All three are headed to the playoffs, hoping they won’t be flying under the radar much longer.
