NEW ORLEANS (AP) -Utah swingman C.J. Miles was scratched from the lineup Sunday night in New Orleans because of a dislocated left finger.
The injury occurred Friday night during Utah’s loss at home to Minnesota. Miles sat out the second half.
Miles, who has started all 71 games in which he has played this season, has been averaging 9.2 points.
Jazz officials said Andrei Kirilenko would start in Miles’ place.
Meanwhile, Hornets coach Byron Scott said Peja Stojakovic was expected to play for a second straight game after missing 15 because of back pain. Scott listed Stojakovic as a reserve against Utah but said he may be ready to start Tuesday night when New Orleans visits Miami.
