MASON, Ohio (AP) -Former NBA player Kirk Snyder has pleaded not guilty to a charge he burglarized a neighbor’s home north of Cincinnati.
Snyder was arrested Monday at his house in Deerfield Township after a woman living nearby told Warren County sheriff’s officers that he broke into her home and attacked her husband.
Snyder’s not guilty plea to aggravated burglary was entered during a video arraignment Tuesday while Snyder remained in jail. A Mason Municipal Court magistrate set bond at $500,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 16.
Snyder was the 16th player taken in the 2004 NBA draft. He played for four teams in four seasons – the Jazz, Hornets, Rockets and Timberwolves – and spent the past season in the Chinese professional basketball league.
