ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -Larry Hughes left New York’s game Saturday night against the Orlando Magic in the second quarter with a jammed left big toe.
The Knicks said his return was questionable. It was unclear how the injury occurred. Jared Jeffries replaced Hughes in the lineup to start the third quarter.
The Knicks were already without center David Lee, who was sidelined for the first time this season with tendinitis in his knees. Lee said he should be able to play when the team returns to New York to face the Magic again Monday.
