EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Dwyane Wade returned to the Miami Heat lineup on Friday night after missing a game with a strained right hip flexor.
Wade told Erik Spoelstra that he felt better on Friday morning and the coach let him play after the guard went through his pre-game routing without any problems.
Wade, the league’s leading scorer, sat out a 112-108 overtime loss to the Celtics in Boston on Wednesday. It marked the first game he missed this season.
Wade averaged 29.9 points, 7.6 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 2.26 steals and 1.41 blocks in his first 66 games.
