DALLAS (AP) -Detroit Pistons top-scorer Richard Hamilton will miss Tuesday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks because of a nagging groin problem.
Hamilton, averaging 18.1 points, has been slowed by the injury all season. He missed his ninth game this season.
Hamilton says the injury flared up in Sunday’s home loss to Memphis.
Pistons coach Michael Curry said Hamilton hasn’t been able to practice, but will be listed as day-to-day.
Curry says Hamilton would be replaced at shooting guard by Arron Afflalo, with Will Bynum getting more playing time.
