OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -Center Mehmet Okur and forward Andrei Kirilenko were missing from Utah’s starting lineup Sunday night as the Jazz played a key game for playoff positioning at Oklahoma City.
Okur was sidelined with a strained back after playing a season-high 41 minutes Friday night in a loss at Milwaukee. Kirilenko had left Utah’s last game in the second half after straining his right calf.
Okur and Kirilenko are the team’s third- and fourth-leading scorers and combine for 25 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.
C.J. Miles and Paul Millsap took their places in the starting lineup.
Reserve Ronnie Price was also out for the second straight game with a bruised right wrist.
Earlier in the day, the Jazz signed swingman Othyus Jeffers to a second 10-day contract.
