NEW YORK (AP) -Jamal Crawford and Eddy Curry were added to the injury list Saturday night, leaving the New York Knicks without their top four scorers for their game against Portland.
Crawford, leading New York with 20.8 points per game, bruised his right hand Friday night in the Knicks’ 101-97 loss to Detroit. Curry, the starting center, was out with a sore right knee.
The Knicks already knew they’d be without Zach Randolph, averaging 17.5 points and a team-best 10.2 rebounds, who has a bruised right foot and has returned to Indiana for personal reasons. Stephon Marbury, third on the team in scoring, isn’t expected to play again this season after having left ankle surgery in January.
New York’s starting lineup was Wilson Chandler, David Lee, Malik Rose, Quentin Richardson and Nate Robinson. Richardson didn’t even play Friday, as coach Isiah Thomas has given more time to his younger players.
