CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -The Charlotte Bobcats will again be without three injured centers against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Coach Larry Brown said before Friday’s game that Nazr Mohammed met with a back specialist and “got a new bed or inverted table.” Brown believes Mohammed could be ready to return from his severe back spasms sometime next week.
Tyson Chandler has practiced some over the past couple days, but Brown says he’s still experiencing soreness in his left foot.
DeSagana Diop had some swelling after working out some Thursday as he recovers from a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
The injuries mean Theo Ratliff will continue to start at center.
