ATLANTA (AP) -Dallas Mavericks forward Caron Butler has missed his second straight game because of a negative reaction to medication.
Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said in a late afternoon meeting with reporters that Butler’s status would be a game-time decision.
DeShawn Stevenson, acquired along with Butler and Brendan Haywood in a Feb. 13 trade with Washington, started in Butler’s spot against the Atlanta Hawks.
Butler, who participated in pregame warmups, is averaging 16.7 points and 6.6 rebounds this season.
