PHOENIX (AP) -The Phoenix Suns filled out their roster on Friday by signing Linton Johnson to a 10-day contract.
The Suns had until Friday to fill the vacancy left when the team traded Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks to Miami for Shaquille O’Neal.
Johnson, a 6-foot-8 forward, played parts of the last four seasons with Chicago, San Antonio, New Jersey and New Orleans.
He has averaged 4.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 133 games, 27 of them as a starter.
