DALLAS (AP) -Miami guard Dwyane Wade sat out his second straight game because of a strained left calf, missing the Heat’s game against Dallas on Saturday night.
The All-Star game MVP was injured in the first quarter Wednesday night against the New Jersey Nets. Wade, who is with the team, missed the Heat’s 100-87 double-overtime victory over Memphis on Friday night, ending his consecutive games streak at 55.
The Heat also are without starting point guard Rafer Alston, also inactive for a second straight game after injuring his right hand against the Nets.
“We’ll see how his hand responds to treatment and where Dwyane is when we get back to Miami,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said.
