-Kobe Bryant, Lakers, and Shaquille O'Neal, Suns, shared MVP honors as the West beat the East 146-119 in the All-Star game. Bryant scored 27 points and O'Neal had 17 points in 11 minutes.

GOING, GOING, GONE?
Amare Stoudemire scored 19 points at the All-Star game in what could be one his final games while playing for the Phoenix Suns. The power forward has been the subject of much trade speculation.

SEEING STARS
In the game and in the stands, there were stars everywhere in Phoenix at the All-Star Game, including singer John Legend, who performed during halftime. Legend was joined by another vocal performer, Juanes, and the Florim Choir. Among the notables in attendance were former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who drew the biggest ovation of the night; Beyonce and Jay-Z; the Rev. Jesse Jackson; Maria Shriver; sports stars George Gervin, Scottie Pippen, Alonzo Mourning, Terrell Owens, and Bill Russell, who was presented with a 75th birthday cake shortly before halftime.

STATS
Star MVP honors, giving each three in their careers, tying Michael Jordan and Oscar Robertson for the second most in NBA history. Bob Pettit has the most All-Star MVPs with four.

SPEAKING
