-Dirk Nowitzki, Mavericks, scored a season-high 37 points to lead Dallas to a 96-76 win over Portland.
-Dwight Howard, Magic, had 23 points and 24 rebounds in a 109-98 win over Denver.
-DeShawn Stevenson, Wizards, tipped in a missed shot by Antonio Daniels with 0.3 seconds left, giving Washington a 91-89 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

HE'S THE MANU
Manu Ginobili made a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored a season-high 46 points, helping San Antonio beat Cleveland 112-105 on Wednesday night. Ginobili scored 18 points in the fourth quarter, making 4-of-4 3-pointers. Ginobili, who was coming off a 34-point performance in a win over Toronto, has made 19 3-pointers in his past three games.

STREAKING
Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton led a balanced attack with 14 points each as the Detroit Pistons won their 10th straight, 96-80 over Indiana on Wednesday night.

ROAD WARRIORS
Kobe Bryant scored 29 points, Pau Gasol pitched in another well-rounded game, Lamar Odom patched together a triple-double, and the Lakers breezed past the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-92 on Wednesday night to finish their road trip 7-2. The nine straight games away from home were the longest such string for the Lakers since the NBA went to an 82-game schedule in 1976.

TRIPLE-DOUBLES
Carlos Boozer had 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his first triple-double as the Utah Jazz soared into the All-Star break with a 112-93 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday night. ... Lamar Odom had 10 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists for the Lakers in a 117-92 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

SNAPPED
The Charlotte Bobcats defeated the Atlanta Hawks 100-98 on Wednesday night to snap a seven-game losing streak.

STRONG IN DEFEAT
LeBron James scored 39 points - including 18 in the fourth quarter - in Cleveland's 112-105 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
