CLEVELAND (AP) -Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash sat out Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers for some much-needed rest.
Nash, who is averaging 13.8 points and 9.8 assists, left Monday night’s game against Philadelphia in the third quarter and said his back, shoulder and hamstring have been bothering him. He has played in 46 games and is averaging33.8 minutes.
With Nash out, Leandro Barbosa started Phoenix’s final game before the All-Star break. It was Barbosa’s third start.
Nash has missed six games this season.
