CLEVELAND (AP) -Cavaliers rookie forward Darnell Jackson was recalled after playing one game for Erie of the NBA’s Development League.
Jackson, who was assigned to the BayHawks on Monday, scored 24 points with six rebounds in 26 minutes in a 102-89 win over the Utah Flash. He will be available for Tuesday night’s game in Indianapolis against the Pacers.
The Cavaliers are short-handed as swingman Sasha Pavlovic (sprained ankle), guard Delonte West (broken wrist) and forward Tarence Kinsey (sprained ankle) are all out.
Jackson, a second-round pick who played on Kansas’ national championship team last year, is averaging one point and 1.2 rebounds in 6.7 minutes.
