MILWAUKEE (AP) -The injury-riddled Milwaukee Bucks signed veteran guard Eddie Gill to a 10-day contract Monday.
Gill began his NBA career with New Jersey in 2001 and has averaged 3.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 181 career games.
New Jersey waived the 30-year-old Gill in 2007. This season, he has averaged 16.2 points, 8.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals for the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League.
The Bucks currently are playing without three injured starters: point guard Luke Ridnour, center Andrew Bogut and shooting guard Michael Redd, who is out for the season.
Terms of the Bucks’ deal with Gill were not disclosed.
