PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Philadelphia 76ers forward Elton Brand missed practice Wednesday and is day to day because of a shoulder injury that forced him to miss 16 games.
Brand had an MRI after sitting out the second half of a 100-99 loss to Boston on Tuesday night. The test revealed no new damage to his right shoulder, and he could play against Indiana on Thursday night. Brand has come off the bench the last six games since returning from the injury.
The 76ers gave Brand a five-year, $80 million contract in the offseason. He’s averaging 13.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 29 games.
