 MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -The Los Angeles Clippers started a seven-game road trip without leading-scorer Corey Maggette, who has the flu and missed Friday night's game against Minnesota.
Maggette has missed the previous two games and didn't travel with the team. The swingman was averaging 20.9 points.
Clippers center Chris Kaman is also fighting an illness and a bruised leg. Los Angeles coach Mike Dunleavy said before the game Kaman's status was a game-time decision.
Kaman was averaging 17.3 points and 13.9 rebounds.
Los Angeles has played all season without star forward Elton Brand and point guard Shaun Livingston.
