New Orleans beat Denver 117-93 Monday for the Hornets' ninth straight win. New Orleans has the second best record in the NBA at 32-12.

STREAKING
Utah has won five straight and nine in a row at home after a 97-91 win over San Antonio on Monday night. ... Dallas has won 13 straight over the Grizzlies, including a sweep of Memphis in the opening round of the 2006 playoffs after a 103-84 victory. The Mavericks have never lost at the FedExForum, which opened in 2004. The Grizzlies' last home victory over Dallas was Feb. 17, 2004, in their previous home, The Pyramid.

STRONG IN DEFEAT
Tim Thomas had a season-high 29 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers in a 107-100 loss to Charlotte on Monday night.
