MIAMI (AP) – Luol Deng and Chris Andersen both were kept out of Miami’s game against Milwaukee on Tuesday, prompting the Heat to use their 18th different starting lineup of the season.
Deng has a calf injury. Andersen has elbow and back injuries. There is no timetable for either’s return, though neither player is expected to miss significant time.
Danny Granger took Deng’s spot in Miami’s starting lineup and Hassan Whiteside took Andersen’s place. Both were making their fourth start of the season.
Whiteside had a 14-point, 13-rebound, 12-block game off the bench in Miami’s win at Chicago on Sunday.
