ATLANTA (AP) -Charlotte guard Raymond Felton has been helped off the court in Atlanta after injuring his right ankle against the Hawks.
Felton was trying to cut past Jamal Crawford when he stepped on the Atlanta player’s left foot and appeared to twist the ankle in Friday night’s game. He went down in severe pain, then was taken to the locker room with arms wrapped around the shoulders of two team officials, putting no weight on his foot.
The fourth-year point guard came into the night averaging 12.7 points a game. The extent of his injury isn’t yet known.
