MILWAUKEE (AP) -The Milwaukee Bucks say guard Michael Redd will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury.
Redd tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee Sunday night in the second quarter of the Bucks’ game at the Los Angeles Lakers. An MRI on Monday in Phoenix revealed the injury, which will require surgery.
Redd, a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team, sustained the same injury about a year ago and had mostly struggled this season after coming back from surgery last March. He was averaging just 11.9 points in 18 games, 12 starts.
