Paul still an option for Clippers?
LOS ANGELES (AP) – With Chris Paul’s future in limbo, Blake Griffin weighed in enthusiastically on the possibility of the Los Angeles Clippers landing the All-Star guard.
Griffin says the team would love to have Paul but is ready to roll with the players it has.
The Clippers on Monday called off a proposed deal with the New Orleans Hornets to land Paul, with general manager Neil Olshey saying they would have had to give up too much.
Asked Tuesday if the team is still interested, Olshey said he’d have to listen if someone called but that the team is not actively trying to acquire new players.
