OKC win streak snapped in Westbrook return
Westbrook returned from a sprained ankle Monday night, but the Thunder had their three-game winning streak ended in a 117-113 loss at the Kings. Oklahoma City drops to 10-6 on the season, but is 10-2 since starting the season with four straight losses. Westbrook paced the Thunder with a game-best 29 points on 12-of-25 shooting with 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Paul George contributed 27 points plus nine rebounds and three assists. Hamidou Diallo had 18 points and two steals. Steven Adams registered 11 points and 15 rebounds. Timothe Luwawe-Cabarrot accounted for 11 points, five rebounds and two assists off the bench. Oklahoma City trailed 69-56 at halftime, but outscored Sacramento 29-15 in the third quarter before faltering in the fourth.
Warriors lose third straight at Spurs
Golden State suffered a 104-92 defeat at San Antonio Sunday night for its third straight loss to drop to 12-6 on the season. Durant paced the Warriors with 26 points on 8-of-25 shooting with 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals. Klay Thompson tallied 25 points, two boards and two dimes. Quinn Cook added 16 points, eight rebounds and two assists off the bench. Golden State trailed 56-48 at halftime and were outscored in every quarter.
NBA Betting Trends
Oklahoma City
The Thunder are 8-1 ATS after allowing 100 or more points their previous game. The under is 11-1 in the last 12 meetings in Golden State.
Golden State
The Warriors are 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall. Golden State is 10-3 ATS in its last 13 home games versus OKC.
Prediction:
The Warriors are a mess right now and will be without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green again tonight, while going deeper DeMarcus Cousins remains out until at least late December as he recovers from an Achilles injury. Westbrook is always highly motivated going against Durant and while the reverse is always true, something seems a bit off about Durant since his late-game verbal scrap with Green. Look for the Thunder to rebound from their loss earlier this week to upend the hosts.
