Hawks on four-game ATS losing streak
The Atlanta Hawks will look to snap a four-game losing streak at the betting window when they visit the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30PM ET tonight.
The Hawks are just 1-3 straight up over their last four games and are 0-4 against the spread in that same span. They were favored in each of those four games, ranging from a 13-point favorite to a 1.5-point fave. What’s worse is that three of those four ATS losses came at home: vs. Minnesota (117-107 loss as an 8.5-point favorite), vs. New Orleans (106-98 win, but failed cover as 13-point favorite), at Boston (106-93 loss as a 1.5-point favorite) and vs. Utah (97-96 loss as a 3-point favorite).
Despite the ATS losing streak, oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag once again list Atlanta as a favorite for Tuesday night’s game in Brooklyn. The Hawks opened as a 4-point favorite over the Nets for tonight’s 7:30PM ET tip-off, and that’s where the number currently sits. Conversely, Brooklyn has covered the spread in three-straight games.
On the season the Hawks are 8-4 straight up, 5-6-1 against the spread and over their last 10 games they’re 7-3 SU and 4-5-1 against the number. You can check out all of Tuesday night’s NBA point spreads at our NBA Odds Page.
