(TheSpread) – The 2012-13 NBA Basketball Season kicks off on Tuesday with a trio of games. Here is a look at the odds and over/under totals for each of those games.

The featured game on the opening night of the season has the Miami Heat hosting the Boston Celtics in a rematch of the Eastern Conference Finals. The two will meet at 8:05PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Heat are favored to win, as they have odds o -6 points against the Celtics. The over/under total for the game has been set at 185 points. Miami was 46-20 last season and 28-5 at home. Boston was 39-27 last season and 15-18 on the road. The Heat have won the last two in this series but the Celtics have covered the spread in four of their last six against Miami.

The other featured game on Tuesday night has the Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Dallas Mavericks at 10:35PM ET (View Matchup). Oddsmakers see the Lakers as the favorite in this game, giving them odds of -8.5 points against the Mavericks. The over/under total for this game has been set at 187.5 points. The Lakers are 41-25 last season and 26-7 at home while the Mavericks were 36-30 overall last season and 13-20 on the road. The Lakers have won their last four against Dallas and covered the spread in the last three.
