Bosh, Heat ready to Go
MIAMI (AP) – Chris Bosh expects the Miami Heat to get together to start preparing for a new season in the coming weeks, regardless of the NBA’s lockout status.
The newly married Heat forward says he’s been working out on occasion at the University of Miami. Players from many NBA clubs have been using the Hurricanes’ practice facility in recent weeks.

Bosh is in Los Angeles this weekend to help promote the widely anticipated video game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.” Bosh is heading soon to New York for some Fashion Week events, along with some U.S. Open tennis and perhaps the Dallas Cowboys’ opener against the Jets on Sept. 11.
After that, Bosh says he’ll be back in Miami to “start getting ready.”
