Expected Boost
Playa Vista, CA – Clippers general manager and head coach Mike Dunleavy is confident the addition of swingman Rasual Butler will help address one of the team’s biggest weaknesses – outside shooting.
Dunleavy said Monday at the team’s practice facility that Butler is a good fit for the team.
The Clippers acquired the 6-7 Butler and cash last Wednesday from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for a conditional second-round pick in 2016.
Butler averaged career highs in points with 11.2 per game and rebounds with 3.3 per game last season for the Hornets.
