Irving excited to play with LeBron

CLEVELAND, OH (TheSpread) – Cleveland point guard Kyrie Irving knows his chances to win an NBA Championship are as great as they have ever been.

The fourth-year point guard, who signed a new deal with Cleveland this offseason and will now have a new teammate in LeBron James spoke at his basketball camp in Ohio about his excitement for this upcoming season with the Cavaliers.

“It's an exciting time, I can tell you that,” Irving said, according to Fox Sports Ohio. “Everything is happening.”

Irving will make $90 million over the next five years with Cleveland. He averaged 20.8 points and 6.1 assists last season for the Cavs and is averaging 20.7 points and 5.8 assists per game for his NBA career.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Cleveland is the favorite to win the NBA title next season, as the Cavaliers have 3/1 odds. Other short odds to win are San Antonio (9/2), Chicago (13/2) and Oklahoma City (13/2).
