Wade going back to Miami
MIAMI, FL (TheSpread) – The Miami Heat re-signed their franchise player on Tuesday, as Dwyane Wade announced he is coming back to the team.
With LeBron James leaving Miami to return to Cleveland, there was speculation on whether Wade would return, but Pat Riley made a surge and brought back Chris Bosh while signing Luol Deng.
ESPN is reporting that the deal is a two-year deal with a player option for the second year, but the financial details were not released. Wade opted out of his contract with Miami following the NBA Finals despite being due $42 million over two years.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Miami now has 25/1 odds to win the NBA Championship next season. Cleveland is the favorite with 15/4 odds while San Antonio has 9/2 odds.
