MIAMI (AP) - The Miami Heat are plotting ways to win again next season, regardless of the cost.

Heat President Pat Riley says that the team is not currently planning to exercise its amnesty option, a move that if utilized could save the team millions in upcoming luxury-tax payments. Riley says he and Heat managing general partner Micky Arison rarely talk about the looming tax bills and are instead focusing on ways to make the roster better.

Riley says the team keeps ``moving forward and getting ready for next season,'' when Miami will try to win a third straight NBA championship.

The Heat are facing a luxury-tax bill that is on track to exceed $30 million for the coming season.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Heat are 2/1 favorites to win next year's NBA title. The Thunder have the next-best odds at 6/1, while the Rockets are 9/1 and the Bulls are 10/1. The Clippers and Spurs, meanwhile, are 12/1, respectively.
