Kawhi Leonard (right knee) will not play in Game 5 against the Suns on Tuesday. Kawhi being ruled out is just a formality these days as it would be flabbergasting to see him suit up again this season, especially considering his team’s season is over with just one more loss to Phoenix. Paul George will continue to take the reins in LA, and the next three games (if they play that many) are must-wins for the Clips.

Deandre Ayton went nuts in a Game 4 win against the Clippers on Saturday night, totaling 19 points, playoff career-highs of 22 boards and four blocks, three assists and a steal in 41 big minutes. He’s been feasting all series, but this was the game where he really made a statement and led the Suns to a commanding 3-1 lead to put them just a single victory away from a trip to the NBA Finals. Basically the only issue we’ve had with Ayton this series from a statistical standpoint is his lack of blocks, but he came through tonight to reach a new playoff career-high four of them. Even more, DA shot 8-of-14 from the field tonight, extending his streak of playoff games with at least a 50% shooting mark from the floor to 14 games, the longest streak since 1954-1955. Devin Booker made just eight of his 22 shots but still came through with 25 points and two steals in 38 minutes before fouling out late, while Chris Paul had a nice 18/4/7 line and moved up to 12th on the NBA playoffs all-time assists list for yet another milestone for the Point God. Game 5 on Monday will be a must-watch for fans and a must-win for the Clippers.

On the other side, the over is 12-5-1 in the Suns’ last 18 games coming off an ATS win and is 21-10 in their last 31 games when favored.
