The Cleveland Cavaliers own the top pick for the third time in four seasons. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins is favored to be the top pick, as he has 1/2 odds. Duke forward Jabari Parker has been given 7/5 odds, while Kansas center Joel Embiid has 12/1 odds.

Wiggins had an outstanding freshmen season at Kansas, averaging 17.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while shooting 44.8 percent from the field. Wiggins was thought to be the top pick in last year’s draft had high school players been eligible to come out. Wiggins is a lengthy guard, standing 6-8.

Parker is a 6-8 forward out of Duke that averaged 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game as a freshman for the Blue Devils. He shot 47.3 percent from the field and also averaged 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.

Embiid is a 7-0 center out of Cameroon that also played just one season for Kansas. He averaged 11.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game, shooting 62.6 percent from the floor. Embiid was thought to be the top pick, but it was discovered late last week that he had a broken foot. He had surgery on the injury and will be out 4-6 months, which could hurt his draft value.
