According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Miami Heat open as the clear favorites, as they have 11/10 odds to win. Other short odds to win are the Chicago Bulls (4/1) and the Indiana Pacers (6/1).

The Heat have won the Eastern Conference the last three years and should be returning their core group, the Big 3 for next season. The key for Miami will be its role players.

Chicago had the top record in the East two seasons ago when Derrick Rose was healthy. With him out all this season, Chicago still reached the conference semifinals. Rose will be back next season and could make the Bulls a real threat.

Indiana has been Miami’s toughest challenge in the East the last two season. This year, Indiana was one game shy of beating the Heat in the conference finals. With young talent like Paul George and Roy Hibbert, Indiana should be strong again next season.
