Utah Jazz DFS Notes
The Utah Jazz say Mike Conley (mild right hamstring strain) is out for Saturday’s Game 3 against the Clippers. Conley has missed the last two games and will now miss a third consecutive on Saturday evening. With the Jazz holding a commanding 2-0 lead over the Clippers, even if Conley could give it a go, there is no need in risking it at this time in the series. There also has been no word on Conley even returning to practice yet, so it is safe to say, this could not be the last game that he misses. In his absence, Joe Ingles will likely start for Conley again. Ingles is coming off a solid performance in Game 2, where he scored 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting (4-of-7 3-pointers) with four rebounds, four assists, one steal and two turnovers in 33 minutes of action.
Los Angeles Clippers DFS Notes
Paul George had his best game of the playoffs thus far, leading his team to a much-needed Game 3 win with 31 points, three rebounds, five assists, a steal, six triples and four turnovers in 38 minutes. He went from “Playoff P” to “Lay Off Me P” real quick, including 20 points in the first half to lead his team to what was basically a must-win for the Clippers. LA was just consistently better on both ends of the floor tonight and forced Utah into 16 turnovers, scoring 24 points off of these mistakes. This is familiar territory for Los Angeles as they identically trailed Dallas 2-0 and then won Game 3 to ensure the series stayed competitive, so let’s see if they continue the replication by tying things up in Game 4 on Monday. Kawhi Leonard shot 4-of-12 in the first half but had a huge second half to end his night with 34 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, while Nicolas Batum (17 points, seven rebounds) and Reggie Jackson (17 points, five 3-pointers) helped out as well.
Jazz vs. Clippers Game 4 Playoffs Prediction
The Jazz are 9-4 against the spread in their last 13 games at STAPLES Central and are 11-4 at the betting window in their last 15 games versus the Clippers overall. They’re also 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall, are 5-1 against the number in their last six games playing on one day of rest and have covered in four of their last five road games. On the other side, the Clippers are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games and are 1-5 against the number in their last six conference semifinals games.
