Atlanta Hawks DFS Notes
Trae Young hit 11-of-23 shots, four 3-pointers and 9-of-9 free throws for 35 points, 10 assists and two steals in Sunday’s thrilling 128-124 Game 1 win over the Sixers in Philadelphia. Trae becomes the second player in history to score at least 30 points in his first four road playoff games, joining the Bucks’ Lew Alcindor, who became Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Hawks blew a massive lead and the Sixers fought their way back into the game late with great defense, some shaky officiating and some big plays. But the Hawks were able to hold them off in the end, even without De’Andre Hunter (knee). John Collins had 21 points, three 3-pointers, two steals and four rebounds, Clint Capela double-doubled with 11 points, 10 boards, a steal and a block, Bogdan Bogdanovic had 21 points, four rebounds and five assists, and Kevin Huerter added 15 points and three 3-pointers and the Hawks stole home-court advantage on Sunday.
Philadelphia 76ers DFS Notes
Joel Embiid (right knee) is being listed as questionable for Game 2 vs. the Hawks on Tuesday. Embiid logged 38 minutes in Game 1 on Sunday, and Doc Rivers said he “looked good” at Monday’s walkaround, but Rivers also acknowledged that they’re “not out of the wood’s yet” with Embiid’s knee injury and that he’ll likely be evaluated ahead of every game moving forward. We’re expecting Embiid to be out there, but this knee issue will likely be ongoing for the remainder of the postseason.
