NBA Finals MVP Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2014 NBA Finals feature some of the all-time greats in the NBA. Which player will emerge as the best and win the NBA Finals MVP?
The NBA Finals features the San Antonio Spurs taking on the Miami Heat. The Spurs have the home-court advantage in the series. Unlike most years, where the format has been 2-3-3, this year’s series is 2-2-1-1-1. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, LeBron James is the favorite to win the MVP honor, as he has odds of +125 to prevail. The other short odds to win are Tim Duncan (+280) and Tony Parker (+280).
James is averaging 27.1 points per game in the playoffs, which is tops for any player entering this series. He is also adding 6.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game. James has won the Finals MVP the last two years.
Duncan is averaging 16.5 points per game in the playoffs while adding 8.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 blocks per game. Duncan is a three-time Finals MVP, last winning in 2005.
Parker is posting 17.2 points per game in the postseason, which leads San Antonio. He is also averaging 2.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. Parker won the Finals MVP honor in 2007.
